Welcome Home

After 16 days in the hospital for our transplant visit, we got discharged yesterday (earlier than anticipated, on Day +15) and we are home!

So far today we’ve already been back to the clinic for a follow-up visit this morning (and will have them daily for a while), have been getting the house and everything we took to the hospital resettled, getting our food situation sorted, and finding time to relax, nap and recover.

Though every day seems to bring new and different challenges as this journey continues, we are so happy to be back home and sleeping in our own bed again!
